“What’s worse than being blindly in love with a guy and not seeing what he really is, is being head over heels in love with a guy and seeing him for exactly what he really is. The asshole, the cheater, the guy who breaks your heart over and over again and still loving him, and not being able to get over him.”—(via eletheowl)
“Be that strong girl that everyone knew would make it through the worst. Be that fearless girl, the one who would dare to do anything. Be that independent girl who didn’t need a man. Be that girl who never backed down.”—(via eletheowl)
“Blame it on the Georgia moon, blame it on every little thing about her. Blame it on county road sixty to a blanket and a sunflower field. Blame it on a perfect night, knowin’ I couldn’t live without her. Blame it on a kiss rollin’ off her lips and an “I love you”. Blame it on blue eyes.”—Dallas Davidson (via haley-elizabeth)
“He was not my boyfriend. On the other hand, he wasn’t just a friend either. Instead, our relationship was elastic, stretching between those two extremes depending on who else was around, how much either of us had to drink, and other varying factors. This was exactly what I wanted, as commitments had never really been my thing. And it wasn’t like it was hard, either. The only trick was never giving more than you were willing to lose.”—
Thankful for the reminder that it really is a small world, even when you are living six hours away from home.
Didn’t know how much I needed that reminder until tonight when I met a guy in the quiet study room at school who ended up being from the same hometown as me. We have several overlapping friends and nostalgia for childhood places.
Small towns sometimes get a bad wrap, but I wouldn’t trade my hometown for the world.
"This is the South, and we're proud of our crazy people. We don't hide them up in the attic. We bring them right down into the living room and show them off. . . No one in the South asks if you have crazy people in your family; they just ask what side they're on."- Julia Sugarbaker
